Join us for a special Valentine’s Day program all about courtship and mating in the bird world! Our speaker, Rose Guerra, will share engaging insights and stories you’re sure to love. Enjoy the presentation while sipping on a complimentary glass of wine (or two!).

Come in anytime between 12-4 and meet Monteen’s owl, Puck! For a $10 donation you can put on a glove and hold Puck! Great photo opportunity for a great cause!

March 14th at 2:00 Wildlife Center of North Georgia

Have you ever found a baby bird on the ground that seemed too young to be out of the nest? It’s a common situation, and we’re excited to welcome Errolyn Martin, a licensed wildlife rescue and rehabilitator, back to the store to help you know exactly what to do. She will explain how to tell the difference between a hatchling, nestling, and fledgling, and how to determine whether the bird truly needs help. This will be a very informative presentation filled with helpful guidance that every bird lover should know.

 

March 15th from 12:00-4:00 Cat/Kitten Adoption

We’re excited to host another cat and kitten adoption event in our store! Happy Tears Feline Foundation, our valued community partner, does incredible work rescuing cats and kittens who find themselves in unfortunate situations. Each one deserves a loving home, and we’re happy to help make those connections by hosting this adoption event. Please share this event with anyone you know who may be looking to welcome a new furry family member into their home.

We’re excited to once again welcome Micki and her three wonderful educational ambassadors to our store! Come meet Trevor, a screech owl; Journey, a Broad-winged Hawk; and Harmony, a Red-tailed Hawk, and hear their incredible stories.

April 4th at 1:30 Mysteries of Migration with Melanie Furr

This special presentation explores the who, what, when, why and how of bird migration. We will also learn how scientists study migration, the hazards birds face on their journeys and ways we can help.
