Upcoming Events

 October

October 25th:

8:00am We are hosting a bird walk at Olde Rope Mill Park. The walk will be led by Rose Guerra, a naturalist & environmental educator. The trail is relatively flat but can be rocky and rooty in places. The duration is up to 2.5 hours. If you are interested please call the store, (770)928-3014, for more details or to RSVP as spots are limited.

1:00pm We are thrilled to welcome Wildlife Center of North Georgia to our store. They will be sharing the important work they do as songbird rehabilitators and explaining how they rescue and take care of injured birds. They will talk about window collisions, fall migration and discuss some of their most critical patients, including Cosmo, a Pilieated Woodpecker who was in very bad shape due to a window collision which caused severe neck trauma. Today he flies freely again and you will love his story!
