July 11th 10:00a.m.-5:00p.m. Puzzle Swap   Are you an avid puzzler? If you have puzzles you've already completed and are wondering what to do with them, bring them to the store and join us for our Puzzle Swap on Saturday, July 11th! Drop off your gently used puzzles any time before the event or bring them with you that day. Then browse the collection and pick out a new-to-you puzzle to enjoy! Please make sure puzzles have all of their pieces before bringing them in. Any puzzles remaining at the end of the day will be donated to a local assisted living community so others can enjoy them—unless you let us know you'd like your puzzle(s) returned.

July 18th at 10:30 Presentation on Butterflies  Join us for a special presentation with Jack Price, a Master Naturalist and volunteer at the butterfly exhibit at Smith Gilbert Gardens. He will be sharing his knowledge about pollinators-with a special focus on butterflies. Butterflies are not only beautiful to watch, but they also play an important role in pollinating plants, alongside many other animals. Come learn about the pollination process, discover who our pollinators are, and explore the challenges they are currently facing.

July 18th at 2:00 Georgia Aviary-A Free-Flight Sanctuary for Rescued Parrots will be here with some of their ambassadors including Tonto, an Umbrella Cockatoo, a Military Macaw and an Amazon Parrot.  There will be photo ops at the end of the presentation.

August 1st at 2:00 Georgia Reptile Society Josh Davis, a volunteer with the GA Reptile Society, will be here with live native reptiles to give us a presentation. After the presentation there will be an interactive session. 

August 8th at 11:00 Presentation on Native Bees  Join us for an engaging and educational program with Becky Griffin, the National Coordinator for the Great Southeast Pollinator Census. She will be discussing native bees—specifically mason bees and leaf-cutter bees—and why these incredible pollinators are so beneficial to our environment. These gentle, fascinating bees play a vital role in pollination and are a wonderful addition to any backyard habitat.
